PODCAST: Yoga, the perennial

By Sandhya Sridhar

Our Indic Trail podcast this week is a free-wheeling conversation with Ketki Date, yoga practitioner, author and language expert, who speaks of her own experiences and understanding of yogabhyas.

From the natural yoga asanas that we playfully practise in childhood to the mindful acceptance of yoga in our adult lives, Ketki delves into it all.

Ketki also brings in Mugdha Godbole, an expert in the Sanskrit language and Vedic literature, to offer us a context of yoga and what it really means. While Mugdha speaks in Marathi, Ketki translates her queries and Mugdha’s replies for us, offering a natural and impactful view of this ancient form of what many of us see now as mere ‘exercise’.
